4. Major academic achievements

Jiangzhao Chen is currently a professor at College of Optoelectronic Engineering in Chongqing University. He is a member of the “100 People Plan” of Chongqing University. He received his B.S. and Ph.D. degrees in Applied Chemistry from Northeast Forestry University in July 2011 and in Optical Engineering from Huazhong University of Science and Technology in June 2016, respectively. From September 2016 to February 2019, he worked as a postdoctoral researcher in Prof. Nam-Gyu Park’s group at School of Chemical Engineering, Sungkyunkwan University. From March 2019 to November 2019, he worked as a postdoctoral researcher in Prof. Wallace C. H. Choy’s group at Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering, the University of Hong Kong. He has long been engaged in Research on New thin film solar cells. A series of innovative research results have been achieved. Up to now, he has published 81 SCI academic papers in international well-known journals, which have been cited for more than 6800 times. H index is 30. Among them, 66 SCI papers have been published as the first or corresponding author, including Nat. Energy (1), Adv. Mater. (5), Angew. Chem. Int. Ed. (1), Adv. Energy Mater. (3), Adv. Funct. Mater. (3), ACS Energy Lett. (3), Nano Energy (2), etc. 43 papers with an impact factor greater than 10. 12 papers have been selected as ESI highly cited papers. 4 paper has been selected as ESI Hot Paper. The maximum number of citations in a single article exceeds 390. 13 papers have been cited more than 100 times. 10 invention patents have been applied, among which 6 patents have been authorized. He published 4 monographs in Chinese. He presided over the National Natural Science Foundation of China (1), Chongqing Natural Science Foundation of China (1), Overseas Returnees Entrepreneurship and Innovation Support Plan (1), Fundamental Research Funds for Central Universities (1), enterprise horizontal project (2), etc. He won Wiley China Open Science Author of the Year Award, the second prize of excellent papers in 2022 Sichuan-Chongqing Science and Technology Academic Conference (ranked 1st) and the Second prize of Outstanding papers in the Fourth Western Materials Conference (ranked 1st). He has made more than 10 invited presentations at important academic conferences in related fields. He was invited to serve as the Chairman of international/domestic academic conferences (once), General Secretary of the conference (once) and chairman of branch meetings (3 times). He is a long-time reviewer of more than 30 international famous journals, mainly including Advanced Materials, Angewandte Chemie International Edition, Advanced Energy Materials, ACS Energy Letters, etc. He serves on the Youth editorial board of Sci. China Mater., eScience, Carbon Neutrality and SmartMat journals, the editorial board of Science Frontiers and Chemistry and Chemical Research journals, the guest editor of Materials Reports: Energy journal, and project evaluation and consulting expert of Science and Technology Innovation Alliance of Chengdu and Chongqing Twin Cities Economic Circle. He is a senior member of Chinese Optical Society, member of China Optoelectronic Technology Committee, member of China Energy Research Society and member of Chongqing Youth Science and Technology Leading Talents Association.
