Song Qi was born in Hunan, China, in 1988. He received his Ph.D. from Instrument Science and Technology at Chongqing University in 2017. In 2018, he joined the College of Optoelectronic Engineering, Chongqing University, as a Lecturer. His current research interests include the intelligent structures and systems, smart materials and sensors, vibration isolation, soft robot. Dr. Qi is a young member of the Chinese Rheology Committee and won the 11th China Rheology Youth Award.
