From April 23 to 30, 2024, Professor Gao Wei, an academician of the Engineering Academy of Japan and the director of the Precision Nanosystem Research Center at the Nanomechanics Department of Tohoku University, Japan, was invited by the College of Optoelectronic Engineering, Chongqing University to conduct a teaching seminar on the theme of "Frontier Optoelectronic Micro Nanotechnology" at the Huxi Campus.
Professor Gao Wei is renowned worldwide for his outstanding contributions to the field of nanoprecision measurement sensing and systems. His research achievements have earned him multiple important international awards and he has published several high-impact papers in top academic journals. In this lecture, he brought the world's most advanced optoelectronic theories and practices to the graduate course teaching at the College of Optoelectronic Engineering at Chongqing University. Through in-depth explanations and rich case analysis, he guided the graduate students of the College of Optoelectronic Engineering to appreciate the charm and future trends of ultra precision machining and measurement. In addition, he also arranged interactive sessions with graduate students, encouraging them to ask questions and share insights, thereby stimulating their research interest and enthusiasm for research in disciplines such as instrument science and technology and optical engineering.
