Yong He was born in Guangxi, China. He received the B.Eng. degree (with honors) in electronic science and technology from Huazhong University of Science and Technology, Wuhan, in 2005, the M. Eng. Degree in power machinery and engineering from North China Electric Power University, Beijing, in 2008, and the Ph.D. degree in material physics and chemistry from Shanghai Institute of Ceramics, Chinese Academy of Sciences, Shanghai, in 2011.He was a specially appointed researcher the Institute of Scientific and Industrial Research, Osaka University, Japan from 2011 to 2015. Since April 2015, he has been with Institute for Materials Chemistry and Engineering, Kyushu University, Japan, where he was a research fellow, became an assistant professor in 2016. In 2017, he joined the College of Optoelectronic Engineering, Chongqing University, as a Hundred Talents Researcher of Chongqing University. Prof. He’s current research interests include low dimensional functional materials, gas sensing technology, and volatile organic compounds vapor molecules recognition. He has published more than 50 publications in top-level journals in the field of applied materials, chemistry and electronic device technology.
