Hua Yu, Ph.D., Professor
Dr. Yu received his B.Sc in electrical engineering from Harbin Engineering University and the M.S., and Ph. D. degrees in Electronics Science & Technology from Huazhong University of Science and Technology respectively. In 2007, he joined the research group of Nanoscale Science & Engineering in State University of New York, Albany, USA, working as a post doctor. From 2009 to now, he has served as professor in Chongqing University. During 2016, he has been researching as a visiting scholar for one year in Georgia Institute of Technology, Atlanta, USA.
Dr. Yu’s research interests includes Power MEMS, Energy Harvesting, Self-powered sensors, Internet of Things, MEMS (Micro-Electro-Mechanical System), Electronic device and Integrated Circuit design.
He was dean of EST department, Vice dean of Key lab, Member of IEEE, Senior member of Chinese Institute of Electronics, senior member of Chinese Society of Micro-Nano Technology, committee member of the Youth Committee of Chinese Society of Micro-Nano Technology, council member of China instruments and Control Society, council member of Chongqing Semiconductor Industry Association, council member of Chongqing Inertial Technology Society.
