Peng Feng was born in Henan, China in 1981. He received his Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical and Electronics Engineering (2002), and his PhD in Optics Engineering (2007) from Chongqing University. From June 2008 to January 2012, he was a postdoctoral fellow with the School of Biomedical Engineering, Chongqing University. Now He is an Associate Professor with the Department of Optoelectronics Engineering and Associate Chief of Lab of Optoelectronics Measurement and Imaging, Chongqing University. His interests include multi-model computational imaging (X ray spectral CT, x-ray fluorescence CT, MRI, compton camera imaging) and its applications, biomedical image(CT/MRI/tumor pathology) processing with deep learning method, high-precision position and classification for visible light image (binocular/stereo imaging, underwater binocular imaging), ionizing radiation measurement technology and apparatus. He has published more than 60 peer-reviewed journal papers as corresponding author or first author and served as the reviewer of some top journals which include IEEE TIP, IEEE TMI, IEEE TBME, IEEE TNS, IEEE TBHI, Information Fusion, Pattern Recognition Letters, Acta Optica Sinica etc. He is member of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE), the International Society for Optics and Photonics (SPIE) and senior member of China Optics Society (COS). In 2009, He was honored for a best doctoral dissertation by Chongqing University.
