Jun Luo received the B.Sc. degree from Chongqing university in 1983, and the M.Sc. degree from Chongqing university, in 1990.

He is currently a professor in Chongqing university. He is also the director of the “Embedded System Research Laboratory” of the College of Optoelectronic Engineering, Chongqing University, the “Chongqing University-Texas Instruments DSP Joint Laboratory”. He is an evaluation expert of the Ministry of Science and Technology, the Ministry of Education, the Pharmaceutical Bureau, the National Defense Science and Technology Bureau.

His main research interests cover the embedded systems, artificial intelligence, precision machinery and measurement, intelligent information processing, with over 80 technical publications and 11 national invention patents.
